A silver etching of a portrait of Sir George Williams in 1844, the year he founded the YMCA. The artist of the etching is unknown. The etching is attached to a wood backing. Written on back, “George Williams as a young man” “This is etched in silver by a well-known Dutch artist”. Also written on the back is a short obituary of Mrs. Elizabeth Harris Manley, the wife of John E. Manley. According to the tag on the back, the etching was given to Leslie J. Tompkins in 1961.
