Article written by Gerry Finn titled "Versatile Naismith was preacher on Sunday, Grid Center Monday" from an unknown Springfield paper dated February 25, 1956. Interview of one of Naismith's nephews who recollects Naismith's love of Scotch oats and sermons of Dr. Neil MacPherson at the First Congregational Church in Springfield. It also provides a strange account that Naismith wanted a chicken coop and a storm dropped it into his yard.
