This report, written by George Perkins in May 1919, provides clear evidence of the work being performed by the YMCA and the American Expeditionary Forces (AEF) in France, England, Germany, and Italy, and is intended for those who contributed monetarily to the war effort. Each department of the war work is discussed, including personnel, canteen services, giveaways, the YMCA's of Europe, transportation, manufacturing, huts and hotels, athletics, entertainment, moving pictures, leave areas, sight-seeing, education, reading materials, religious work, soldier's remittances, women workers, and work with the Army of Occupation.
