<mods:abstract>“La Décima Olimpiada” (trans. The Tenth Olympiad) was published by the Argentina Olympic Commitee in 1932. The cover has a picture of the Olympic Stadium Tower with the flags of the participating nations. This document discusses the new Olympic ideal, which embraces the fight as more important than the victory, and provides a brief history of the Modern Olympics. The Argentina Olympic Commitee writes that they hope to grow the prestige gained in the 1928 Olympics and insists on the urgent need to have athletes present at the event. They ask for donations to assist paying for the athletes' travel and include a list of the organizing committee members. The final page lists the Argentina Champions from the Paris Olympics (1924) and the Amsterdam Olympics (1928): Bruneto, Rodriguez Jurado, Landini, Avendano, Peralta, and Zorrilla. The tenth Olympics were held in Los Angeles, California, from July 30 to August 14, 1932. This item is from page six of the Alberto Regina scrapbook - http://cdm. For biographical information on Alberto Regina, see: https://springfield.as.atlas-sys.com/agents/people/140. We were unable to remove this pamphlet from the scrapbook without damage. The pamphlet was left stuck to the scrapbook page and the scrapbook page was cut to minimize effect of the glues on the page. As such, the back cover is not accessible and the back of the scrapbook page is seen in this digitized facsimile;</mods:abstract>
