Description:
This is a letter from D.A. Budge, the secretary at the YMCA in Montreal, to Jacob T. Bowne, the director of the Secretarial Department at the YMCA Training School, now Springfield College. The date is hard to read, but it looks like August, 24, 1891. The letter is in regards to securing funds for Thomas D. Patton from the school and from private sources so that he can finish his second year. Attached to this letter, was a handwritten note that says "Ask Miss B., how much on hand?".
