Each of them is wearing gloves and holding a lacrosse stick. They are standing in front of the Administration Building and Woods Hall. The head coach of the team in 1942 was Frank Mohler and the team captain was Peter Jarina. The team finished the season with 4 wins and 3 losses. The handwriting on the back of the photograph says "Lacrosse Lettermen: - l. to r. Roscoe Brown '43, Tom Best '43, Capt. Pete Jarina '42, Dick Havel '43".
