The first version of the clipping contains the starting lineups. The article is dated as October 21, 1891 by hand-written notes on the article. The publisher is not listed. The page is from the Scrapbook created by Springfield College, at the time known as the International YMCA Training School, titled "Scrapbook Clippings and Publications, 1891-1893." The article talks about a football game that took place between Springfield College's team coached by Amos Alonzo Stagg, Class of 1891, and often referred to as the Stubby Christians, and Amherst College.
