This is a video of the Fifth Annual YMCA Hall of Fame Inductionceremony that took place on June 17, 1989. Fred Hoshiyama, John Dunderdale, Donald Hayward, William Howes, and John Root were inducted. The video is around 53 minutes long. It starts with still photographs of the inductees. The ceremony takes place in the Marsh Memorial Building on the campus of Springfield College. The Inductees give brief acceptance speeches. William A. Howes Jr. gave the acceptance speech for William Howes. Digital technician who digitized file wrote, "Begins in black and then title screen. Audio is on both channels and has a hum in it. Visible head switching at bottom of screen. Ends with snow and black.";
