  <mods:abstract>The photograph shows Donna Masterson, a player on the Springfield College women's basketball team from 1994-1998, attempting to drive to the hoop and score against a defender from an unknown opponent during a game. Masterson holds the basketball in her right hand away from the reach of the defender and uses her other arm as leverage to create some separation between herself and the defender. Masterson has one foot on the ground and the other lifted in the air as she attempts to accelerate past the defender towards the basket. Donna Masterson was a women's basketball player for Springfield College from the years 1994-1998. Masterson averaged around 13-14 points a game during her time at Springfield College and was a phenomenal player who won many awards. She also consistently led her team in three point field goal percentage and consistently was a force on the glass averaging around 5-6 rebounds per season. She was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at Springfield College in 2020.</mods:abstract>
