An announcement of a graduate course in Criminology and Penology offered by Springfield College (then known as the International Young Men’s Christian Association College) in the Spring Term of 1935. The course would be led by Walter H. Commons, a researcher in Penology and supervisor of students at the state prison colony, in Norfolk, Massachusetts. Though of graduate level the course was open to upper-level undergraduates with a background of Sociology, Economics, and General Psychology.
