The exact location of the photograph is not known. Studio Erpe in Nice is printed on the lower left-hand corner. Joseph Lyles was a member of the New York Celtics and can be seen in the center of the image fourth from the right. The Globetrotters were celebrating their 25th anniversary in 1952 by touring the World. They played in 44 countries in 168 days and covered 58,849 miles! The Harlem Globetrotters and the New York Celtics were the first professional basketball teams to ever tour the globe. For more information on Joseph F.
