Description:
A three-page letter written by Luther Halsey Gulick to the community of the International Young Men's Christian Association Training School, now known as Springfield College. The letter is dated January 27, 1892. It talks about events that occurred in the past month, December 1891 and January 1892, in the Physical Department of the School. On the third page he talks about the playing of Basketball, which the students of the school, according to Luther Gulick, are calling "Jim-Nais-ium Ball".
