This is a portrait photograph of Ted Shawn. In the photograph, he is wearing a suit and tie, sitting on a chair, and looking at the camera. He is holding something like a Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival brochure. On the bottom right corner of the photograph, he wrote "To Chic & Mary, with love from Ted", signed his name, and dated "1958". It is believed that the photograph was sent to Springfield College alumnus and faculty member Charles (Chic) Weckwerth.
