A pamphlet about International Young Men's Christian Association College's, now Springfield College, titled "Supreme Sacrifices." The pamphlet includes a story titled, "The Trail of the painted posts, by Bruce Barton", a message from the Advisory council about the work being done by the YMCA and the College during World War I, a budget for the current year, a graph chart of how much is required, and a list of contributors that had recently donated between $25 to $2,000. It also includes news on the Army YMCA and the school. This item was original bound in a book titled “War-Work Courses in Great War, 1917-1918 Incomplete.” This volume was unbound and its contents foldered in the original order, which is chronological. The binding string was cut and the glue was removed with a razor blade. The edges are intact and the placement of stitches are visible. Each page or booklet was individually lifted out of the binding and placed in their own folder or a folder with like materials. Oversized materials were removed and placed in the oversized materials collection; This item was removed from the paper that the item was attached to, so that it could be digitized.;
