This is the War Whoop (vol 1, no. 1) published on June 14, 1924. It is twelve pages long. This is issue contains a full description of the first Freshman Camp. It talks about the events, the professors involved, some of the students and philosophies involved with the camp. It is a Freshman Newspaper, published by members of the Freshman Classes of Springfield College. The Freshman Newspapers talk about happenings within the Freshman class, including sports, dances, meetings, camp, and classes. There are often special features such as jokes, spotlight descriptions on specific freshmen, etiquette suggestions, class officer elections, and messages from professors. The Freshman Newspapers were collected into volumes and Donated By Gena Hickox. There are missing volumes and issues in the collection. It is not known exactly what issues or volumes are missing.;
