Letter from Thomas D. Patton to Jacob T. Bowne (May 26, 1888)
Description:
This is a letter from Thomas D. Patton (Class of 1892) to Jacob T. Bowne. It is dated May 26, 1888. He is responding to a letter that he received on the 15th Mr. Bowne when to expect him for the start of the fall semester at the YMCA Training School (now known as Springfield College) and where he would like to room. He requests to room near a man named Johnson, and there is handwriting on the bottom a note saying they should see if he should room with him. As yet, we have not been able to identify who this man was. For more information on J.T. Bowne, see https://springfield.as.atlas-sys.com/agents/people/15.
