Six Demands by Black Student Groups (September 9, 2020)

These are the six demands submitted by the Black Student Union and other Black student groups demanding equal treatment for Black students on the campus of Springfield College. They were submitted on September 9, 2020 to the Administration of Springfield College. The six demands were: a one-credit anti-black racism course, develop an explicit no tolerance policy around hate speech, hire a Black counselor in the counseling center, increase funding for the Office of Multicultural Affairs, honor the protestors that took part in the Black Student protests of 1969 and 1970, and Invest in SEAT at the Table Week.
