  <mods:abstract>This photograph shows two women standing together and smiling at the camera. The woman on the left is Liselott Diem, Springfield College honorary degree recipient in 1967. The woman on the right is unidentifiable. In the photograph, the two are surrounded by plants. The handwriting on the back of the photograph says "Liselott Diem &amp; Kaun 1984", suggesting the photograph was taken in 1984. Liselott Diem (1906-1992) is a German educator in Physical Education. She received an honorary Doctor of Humanics degree from Springfield College in 1967.</mods:abstract>
