This photograph was taken on May 7, 1970, and shows an officer raising a flag amongst a crowd of onlookers. On the back of the photograph is a newspaper clipping using the photograph with the date May 7, 1970 and a caption reading, " Labier ignores jeers and raises flag to full staff." Also handwritten on the back is " Springfield Colleges' demon." The date above the clipping was originally stamped "May 8, 1970," but the 8 was scratched out and replaced with the 7th. On the back of the photograph there is a news paper clipping of the scene that states " Labier ignores jeers and raises flag to full staff." Also handwritten on the back is " Springfield Colleges' demon."
