This is a black and white postcard of an aerial view of the International YMCA Training School (now Springfield College), ca. 1900-1906. The postcard depicts the Dormitory (currently the Administration Building) and Judd Gymnasium. Additionally, Lake Massasoit and the athletic fields are shown. Below the painted picture is a handwritten list of the different buildings featured in the postcard, including markings for where the future Woods Hall will be. The seen in the postcard is before Woods Hall, the dining hall, was built as the writer of the postcard notes. Woods Hall was opened in 1904. Handwritten on the back of the postcard: "Mrs. E.W. Twichell, Brookfield, Massachusetts." Additionally, several stamps show the date "Oct. 8" and "1906" (separately).
