  <mods:abstract>A slide of Becky Kanupka, a Springfield College basketball player. It is believed that the slide was taken during a basketball game. Becky is in the center of the slide in front of another two players. She is extending her arms to guard her position. From the slide we can see that her number on the jersey is 41. Blurred spectators on the stands can be seen in the background. Becky Kanupka (later changed her last name to Bowman) is a member of class 2002, majored in Elementary Education. Becky played forward in the women's basketball team. She was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC)/Amerisuites New England Division III Rookie-of-the-Year and the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Division III Rookie-of-the-Year in her freshman year. When she was a sophomore, she made the All-Tournament Team in the Anna Maria College Tournament. In her senior year, she was named to the ECAC Division III New England Women's Basketball All-Star Team, won two New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Player-of-the-Week Awards, was named NEWMAC Player of the Year and was selected to Women's DIII News' honorable mention All-America team for women's basketball.
