This is a group photographic negative of the 1974-1975 Springfield College Men's Basketball Team. The coaches are on one knee in a line in front of the players. Future Springfield College Men's Basketball Head Coach Charlie Brock is second from the left. Don Pingree, Auston Briggs, Jim Lamar, and Bruce Frazier. Charles R. Brock earned his bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation counseling at Springfield College in 1976 and a master’s degree in physical education at Springfield in 1980. In addition to being the Head Coach of the Springfield College Men's Basketball Team, he is full professor of physical education. In 2015-16, Coach Brock will enter his 18th season as the head coach at Springfield College and his 36th season as a head coach overall. Brock’s achievements as a coach are certainly impressive. He has taken three schools to the NCAA Division III Tournament twice and has an overall, 35-year record (as of the 2014-15 season) of 498-422 for a winning percentage of .544. At Springfield, he is 269-194 (.581). But he is far from just a successful coach, he’s also a committed educator and community leader. In April, 2006, Brock was named to serve on the prestigious National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Board of Directors. Also in 2006, he was named to the NCAA Division III Men's
