A newspaper article that appeared in the San Francisco Examiner & Chronicle on July 13, 1987. The article is titled "Gay Olympian in his Own Words" and was put together by Paul Moor, with most of the text was written or spoken by Thomas Waddell himself with just a few comments in italics. The article talks about his beliefs and feelings about being Gay, AIDS, and other aspects of his life. There are two photos that were attached to this article (Page 3 and 4), but it is not know whether these photos actually appeared with this article or where published elsewhere in the paper. They include a photo of Tom during his training for the 1968 Olympics and of him speaking in 1982. For biographical information on Thomas F.
