  <mods:abstract>A photograph of Becky Kanupka, a Springfield College basketball player. In the photograph, Becky is dribbling a basketball on the court. She is wearing a Springfield College basketball jersey with number 41 on the front. Becky Kanupka (later changed her last name to Bowman) is a member of class 2002, majored in Elementary Education. Becky played forward in the women's basketball team. She was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC)/Amerisuites New England Division III Rookie-of-the-Year and the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Division III Rookie-of-the-Year in her freshman year. When she was a sophomore, she made the All-Tournament Team in the Anna Maria College Tournament. In her senior year, she was named to the ECAC Division III New England Women's Basketball All-Star Team, won two New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Player-of-the-Week Awards, was named NEWMAC Player of the Year and was selected to Women's DIII News' honorable mention All-America team for women's basketball. On the back of the photograph there is a label says "Springfield College Women's Basketball BECKY KANUPKA".</mods:abstract>
