Twenty-four people can be seen in the photograph, who are standing in five rows on the stairs. Harold C. Smith, a member of the Springfield College Board of Trustees, is in the front row on the second from the left. The management course for presidents is a program which provides chief executives with an intensive review of the principles and practices of professional management.
