A photograph of an unidentified member of the Springfield College Swimming and Diving team on a starting platform getting ready to dive into the water. The swimmer is bent over, with arms behind him and head up, facing forward. Behind him are two windows, a scoreboard, a clock and glass cases that look like they might have records or history about the Springfield College swimming and diving team. The swimming pool is McCurdy Natatorium, the Springfield College swimming pool from 1913 through 1967. There is writing on the front that is not entirely clear. The portion that is able to be worked out says, "To Ed, "Some Diver" Swimmingly yours" Who signs it was not able to be determined. At this time it is not known who "Ed" is.
