A slide of a portrait photograph of Sherrod Shaw. The photograph most likely appeared in a yearbook or other official college document. Dr. Shaw got his bachelors from Elizabeth City State College and and Masters and Doctorate at North Carolina Central University and Duke University respectively. He taught at Springfield College as Professor of Physical Education from 1958 through 1993. Here he helped run and establish the college's Athletic Training Program. Stamped on the casing of the slide is "MAR75 - 16". In this case, though, it is believed that this is does not refer to the date the photograph was taken, just when the slide was created.;
