This is a photograph taken during a football game at Pratt Field on the campus of Springfield College, at the time the International YMCA College. In the photograph, an athlete is lying on the ground holding the football and another athlete seems trying to pull him up. Three other athletes, a man looks like the coach and a boy in the background can also be seen in the photograph. This is most likely the Springfield College football team. There are automobiles parked around the field. According to the processing note inside the folder, the photograph came in a package that says "Springfield College 1912-1914."
