The article is about the Springfield College Baseball team, their accomplishments in their 1970 season where they went to the NCAA College Division Championships in Missouri before losing to Nichols State and Cal State-Northridge. The Springfield College 1969-1970 Baseball team were 20-9-1. They were ranked fourth in the nation, winning the East Regionals and advancing to the NCAA Collegiate World Championships were they lost 3 to 1 to Nichols State and 5 to 3 to San Fernando Valley, now Cal State-Northridge.</mods:abstract>
