This black and white, silent, 16mm film is stated to be the Eastern Regional Collegiate Gymnastics Championships held on March 13, 1971 and held Townson State College. The identification of this comes from writing on the original film case. The film is a bit over 11 minutes. It shows gymnasts, most appear to be from Springfield College, performing floor exercises, the horse, uneven bars and the balance beams. An aware ceremony is also shown. Springfield College head coach Dr. Mimi Murray can be seen at times, helping some of the gymnasts. Technician who digitized film wrote, "Tails out" under inspection notes.; Taped to the original film reel case was an acquisition label that listed the title as "Women's Gymnastics - Eastern Finals S. C. 1971 (Film) and that it was given to the Archives by Dr. Beth Evans on September 24, 1993.;
