This is a video that was taken during the 1999 Springfield College baseball team reunion. The first fifteen minutes of the video are a reflection of baseball in the past at Springfield College as many different photos are shown from the past years of baseball games. These photos are shown in black and white, but the rest of the film which is showing the live ceremony from the 1999 reunion is in color. After this first fifteen minutes, numerous people speak to a large number of people. The first man to speak appears to be Archie Allen, who was the coach of the Springfield College baseball team for many years. After a couple of Speakers, Barry Weinberg speaks. Weinberg does a majority of the talking throughout the remainder of the video, but a couple other people do come up briefly to speak, including Richard B. Flynn, the current president of Springfield College at the time of the reunion. In general, the speakers are players and coaches who describe their experiences playing baseball at Springfield College. Near the end of the video, numerous people speak from the crowd rather than standing at the front podium. These people seem to be former baseball players of Springfield College sharing their stories at the reunion.The video ends with Weinberg giving a closing address. Video technician notes, "Asset begins with audio over black, and transitions to title. The beginning shows black and white photos, but transitions to color with speaker. Audio on both channels at consistent levels. Plays well."
