The first, titled "High Honor Given to Kansas Educator", describes how Naismith was made a life long member of the National Intercollegiate Association, and would be on the basketball rules committee permanently. The second article, titled "Man Who Invented Cage Game Living", gives a brief summary of who Dr. Naismith was, and explains how he created the game of basketball.
