A portrait photograph of Thomas A. Storey. Thomas A. Storey (1875-1943) received his M.D. from Harvard in 1905. He wrote books on hygiene and was a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Storey was a professor at the School of Hygiene at Stanford (1926-1940; emeritus, 1940-1943). He authored many works in the field of hygiene including "Principles of Hygiene" (1930) and "Fourth International Congress on School Hygiene, Buffalo, New York, U.S.A., August 25-20" (1913).
