An "In the Bleachers" cartoon on the creation of basketball, by Steve Moore. The cartoon has a group of men in shorts and T-shirts standing around on a basketball court doing nothing. One man is thinking "Well, This is no fun.." Caption underneath says, "Naismith invents 'Basket,' the unsuccessful forerunner to the game of basketball." The exact newspaper it was cut out of is not known, but it was published by Tribune Media Services, Inc. in 1990 and is dated as January, 19th.
