  <mods:abstract>This photograph shows the students from the class of 1893 at Springfield College, then known as the International YMCA Training School. The original print has a heavy cardboard matting with a large border showing. On this matte board below the photograph is a printed list of the students' names. They are: F. C. ABBOTT, H. L. SMITH, C. E. HASKELL, A. E. WEBB, E. P. RUGGLES, T. G. WILKINSON, F. G. McDONALD E. G. HILDNER, G. E. DAY, M. B. RIDEOUT, R. P. KAIGHN, L. W. ARCHIBALD, J. G. THOMPSON, F. WILLCOCK F. BURKHARDT, F. MAHAN, B. S. FRENCH, F. E. BARNES, H. GELAN, R. SAYFORD, R. McCASTLINE W. R. CHASE. Border also has printed on it that the photographer is Geo. H. Van Norman and his address is 310 Main Street, NEXT P. O., Springfield, Mass. Border has been cropped so that original print could be scanned for higher resolution.
