A memo from Wilbert E. Locklin, President of Springfield College, to Dr. Norman C. Keith, Chairman of the SC Board of Trustees dated May 13, 1969. The memo is the cover letter enclosing materials on the events surrounding the Black student demands. He asks Dr. Keith to decide which of the items should be sent. There are 9 items. They include 1) the 11 demands sent on May 10th, 2) Wilbert E. Locklin's response to the Black Student Demans sent on May 10th, 3) the student council response signed May 12th, 4) a letter written by Roger M. Roper, 5) Message to the students of Springfield from Dean John J. Costello dated May 12, 1969, 6) Statement on Black Student Demands by Wilbert Locklin dated February 20, 1969, 7) Black Demands Information: Facts prepared by Student Council, 8) newspaper article titled "SC President Accepts 9 Demands" and dated may 13, 1969, and 9) a newspaper article titled, "Black Students' Demand for Veto Power Rejected" and dated May 13, 1969.
