This is a black and white photograph taken during a lacrosse game between Springfield College and Wheaton College. Springfield College alumnus Brian Dalton is shown in the center of the photograph, holding a defense lacrosse stick. Dalton is wearing a Springfield College lacrosse shirt with number 24 on it, a helmet, and gloves. An athlete from Wheaton College is close behind him. Another Wheaton's athlete can be seen in the blurry background. Brian Dalton graduated from Springfield College in 2001. He played defense in Springfield College's lacrosse team and was named the SC Male Freshman Team Athlete of the Year in 1998. In his junior year, he was named to both the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III and Pilgrim League Southeast Division All-Star Teams, and received the Springfield College Vic Ohanesian Courageous Athlete Award. As a senior, he was named to the NEWMAC All-Conference Team, Pilgrim League Al-Conference Team, and the Division III All-Conference Team. There are two labels attached to the back of the photograph. One says "Springfield College Men's Lacrosse Brian Dalton", and the other one says "Please return to: Springfield College Office of Marketing & Communications 263 Alden Street Springfield, MA 01109".
