It was also part of the Soviet’s tour that included playing University of Kentucky, University of North Carolina, Duke University and Indiana University. The team included half of the 1992 Russian Olympic team. Springfield College lost the game 92-86 in overtime before 1800 in the college’s Blake Arena.
