A photograph of the Outdoor Club of the International YMCA Training School, now Springfield College, dated May 1897. The group of men are sitting and standing underneath some trees. There are two bicycles behind each side of the back row. The exact location is unknown. Though all the names of the people in the pictures are not known, there are a number of faculty members shown in this image, including: [L to R] Jacob T. Bowne, Frank N. Seerley, James H. McCurdy, and Luther Gulick. This photograph is believed to be a gathering of either a bicycling club or a precursor to the Nature Club which was begun by George Affleck (Class of 1901 and professor).
