  <mods:abstract>Springfield College faculty member Jacob T. Bowne sent this letter to an unknown recipient (handwriting illegible) on August 20, 1890. The letter concerns the recipient’s referral of Genzaburo Ishikawa’s application to the International YMCA Training School, now called Springfield College. It appears that the recipient wrote a reply at the end of the letter and sent it back to Bowne. For more information on J.T.
