This eight-page document describes the purpose and terms of the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) Health Club in Fort Worth, Texas. According to this document, the Health Club was “a high-grade, low cost club – Christian, but not sectarian. It is an athletic organization. It does not use men to promote exercise, but uses exercise to develop men and promote health. It is a place where the club members may meet their friends and make new friends.” This document explains the club’s terms of welcome, code of behavior, the available facilities, the offered services, and the duties of the health club committee and the health service director.
