A slide copy of a photograph of one of the first outdoor basketball games ever played. It shows a man throwing a ball into a peach basket as the rest of the players prepare for the rebound. A large peach basket is being used as the hoop, and the ball used was most likely a soccer ball. Supposedly, Amos Alonzo Stagg used this image during his lectures about the origin of basketball.
