A photograph of an the empty space in the Brennan Center at Springfield College during renovations in 2002. There is a ladder in the middle of the room alongside a bobcat and there is plaster all along the floor. There are also various tubing for ventilation hanging from the ceiling. The Brennan Center was purchased by Springfield College from Mr. and Mrs. Brennan on July 1, 1992. The single-level brick building is located one and a half miles from the main campus and was initially utilized by the Emergency Medical Services program (EMS) and the Physician Assistant (PA) Bachelor Degree Program. The Archives and Special Collections also relocated to the Brennan Center, where it remained until 2010 when it returned to campus to the newly renovated Judd Gymnasia. In the winter and spring of 2012, the 19,300 square-foot building underwent a $2 million renovation/expansion.
