This collage has six black and white photographs of Springfield College alumnus Tom Waddell (class of 1959). The center photograph shows Waddell on one knee and holding shoes. The other five photographs, clockwise from the top, show him pole vaulting, throwing a javelin, throwing either discus or shot put, leaping the high hurdle, and performing a long jump. Beneath the center photograph is a list of Waddell’s athletic records from between 1958 and 1959. After the original poster was created, additional information was taped into the upper left and right corners listing his accomplishments at the 1960 National Decathlon and the 1968 Olympics.
