  <mods:abstract>A booklet containing excerpts of meeting minutes pertaining to the retirement of Cephas Brainerd, Esq. as chairman of the International Committee of Young Men's Christian Associations. Also in the booklet is a letter written to Springfield College librarian, J.T. Bowne from Richard Morse, General Secretary of the International Committee of Young Men's Christian Associations. The letter indicates that the booklet contains extracts of minutes relating to Brainerd's resignation and its acceptance and also provides information regarding Brainerd's successor, Benjamin C.
