A glass negative featuring Elmer Ackerman, class of 1903, sitting at a desk in his dorm room. There are two prominent portraits on the wall in the room of William McKinley and Teddy Roosevelt as well as a lacrosse stick in the left corner near the windows set of golf clubs behind the rocking chair on the right. The room was located in the Dormitory Building (now the Administration Building) of the International YMCA Training School (now Springfield College). This image is part of a collection entitled "Dormitory Life at the Turn of the Century". Collection contains photographs in various formats includes: 11 black & white prints, 12 prints mounted on board, 8 glass negatives, and 1 glass slide.
