Three women are sitting on the grass in the front, while the men are sitting or standing. The back of the photograph has information about this being taken at a Secretaries' Conference, the location, and some people's identities. Robert M. Winn, Springfield College class of 1914, is somewhere in the photo, but exact man is unknown. See the back of the photograph to verify the information. Called Fort Independence initially, The military used Fort Revere (named in honor of Paul Revere) to protect the Boston Harbor dating from the American Revolution through World War II. Today, it operates as Fort Revere Park. It is a historic site (being listed on the National Historic Register in 1975) situated on a small peninsula located on Telegraph Hill in Hull Village in Hull, Massachusetts
