A portrait photograph of Floyd Reed Eastwood, Ph.D. Born in 1900, Floyd Reed Eastwood was the captain of the Springfield Men's Swimming team for the 1919 and 1920 seasons then transitioned to coaching the team for the 1921 and 1922 seasons. Eastwood wrote many papers and books regarding physical education and recreation.
