This is the application for admissions to the International YMCA Training School, now Springfield College, completed by John G. Thompson (Class of 1893). The application is dated July 13, 1891. It includes biographical, religious, education, past employment, and other related information. John G. Thompson is a member of Class 1893 of Springfield College (then known as International YMCA Training School). He was a member of the first men to ever play the game of basketball in 1891. After graduating from Springfield College, he worked as general secretary for Y.M.C.A. at New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada. He died August 17, 1933.
