A portrait photograph of Carl L. Schrader (C. L. Schrader). Carl L. Schrader was the president of the American Association for Physical Education. He received the AAHPER Honor award in 1931. He founded the Society for State Directors of Physical Education and participated in many national committees and conferences. In 1962, SUNY Geneoso opened the Schrader Health and Physical Education building named in honor of Carl. He was a physical training instructor at Geneoso Normal School from 1900 to 1905 and founder of the basketball team.
